Not impressed - blind buy base off description

I was excited to try out the perfume but when I tried it on, my first thought is that the scent reminds me of cough medicine

Not what it used to be

I first began wearing this fragrance in the 1990s while in my 20s. It had a lovely scent and lasted awhile. I wore it again some years ago and I believe I recall it stayed on well. I purchased a bottle last month and noticed it doesn't have the same pretty, powdery smell it once had. I actually just don't like it at all now. It smells like the ingredients have changed. Additionally, it doesn't lasts long like my other fragrances which last the whole day.

Nice Perfume!

I bought this for my mom as a Christmas gift and my mom is a type of person who is picky with perfume she wears and have only used some kinds of specific perfumes until now. However, after I gave her this, this became one of her favorite one to wear.
